NAC Y²™

NAC Y²™️ is 111SKIN’s signature ingredient, and the star of our Reparative Collection, was created by our founder, world-renowned Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Dr Yannis Alexandrides MD FACS ten years ago. Created out of necessity, Dr Yannis sought to create a product to encourage optimal healing for his patients, post-surgery.

This mission to give his clients the very best serum led to a collaboration with European Biochemical Engineers, specialists who were testing the effects of ingredient NAC on astronauts in space. Space is an extreme, skin-degrading environment and research showed that when applied topically, NAC could halt the ageing process on a cellular level – helping to visibly repairing the skin and target the signs of premature ageing.

Dr Yannis then infused NAC into his 111 Harley Street clinic’s inaugural serum, originally named the Dramatic Healing Serum, which sparked the demand for everyday skincare, rather than just for post-operations. It was then that NAC Y²™️was born: a reformulated and supercharged version of the original, clinic-born and beloved serum that started it all.

    A botanical extract that encourages collagen synthesis to tighten and lift the complexion.
